Sometimes in election campaigns the information received about voters does not include identification numbers, which serve as unique identifiers.
For example, a community rabbi who provides a list of supporters. Such a list will typically contain names and phone numbers but not identification numbers.
Smart Match provides a solution to this problem. It allows you to upload a file with any information you have about voters into the system and cross-reference your information with the data in the voter registry, searching for matches by name, phone number, address, and other parameters.
So how does it work?
1. Select the preferred format for uploading your file.
2. Choose the file to upload (it is recommended to first download the appropriate template).
3. Choose a tag – You can add a tag to voters for whom a match was found. For example, participated in a specific event.
4. Associate Activists – Matches found will automatically be added to the voter lists of the activists you select.
5. Support Status – – You can indicate whether to change the support status for approved matches.
6. Threshold – Select the minimum threshold for matching. Recommended value is 4.
7. Select the users authorized to view the match results. You may leave this selection blank.
The Results
After uploading the file, a summary of the selected settings will appear.
Additionally, all the matches found will be displayed, with details of the score each match received and the option to mark it as a correct match.
For example, in the images above, two matches were found for voter Anna Davis.
The first match received a score of 6 for matching the name, city, and street, while the second match received a score of 4 for matching the name only.

After saving the match, the information in the uploaded file will be added to the existing information about the voter in the system.
