The system allows you to send notifications to all your users who have downloaded the UpVote app and enabled notifications in their phone settings. Notifications can include links, for example, a link to social media post and have text asking them to share it. Unlike SMS credits used to text volunteers, sending notifications are free and unlimited.
First, select the recipients of the notification – all users, all managers, the activists of a specific manager, or an individual activist.
Then, define the notification details – title, content, and a link if relevant.
It is recommended to use personalization by using the ‘@’ symbol to make the notification appear more personal.
