How “Household Members” Works
UpVote makes it easy to reach beyond individual supporters by identifying other registered voters who live at the same address.
Since the official voter registry does not include family relationships, UpVote calculates “Household Members” by looking at registered voters who share a home address with someone already in your supporters list. To help you prioritize likely relatives:
- The app displays up to 10 voters at the same address.
- It prioritizes individuals with the same last name.
- If apartment numbers are missing from the registry, the app limits results to prevent showing everyone in the building.
This feature allows you to quickly add additional voters at the same residence — increasing your reach and impact in a matter of seconds.
